Avast is not installing because it is missing required files. Follow the steps below to fix the issue.

1. If you are using Windows 8 or 10, right-click on the Avast icon in the system tray and select “Properties.”

2. Click on the “Uninstall” button.

3. On the “Uninstallation Options” window, click on the “Change” button.

4. On the “Change Uninstall Option” window, click on the “Install” button.

5. Click on the “Finish” button.

6. Restart your computer.

7. Avast should now be installing correctly.
