Avast Antivirus has been using a significant amount of CPU resources on my computer. After some investigation, it was found that Avast was using up to 70% of my CPU time.

This can be a drain on your computer’s performance, and can impact your ability to use other programs.

There are a few factors that could be contributing to this. Avast may be using a lot of resources to scan your computer for malware.

If you have a lot of virus threats, it may take a lot of resources to scan your computer for them. Alternatively, if you have a busy computer with a lot of active processes, Avast may be using up a lot of resources to keep up.

If you’re experiencing high CPU usage from Avast, there are a few things you can do to try and reduce its impact. You can try disabling some of the features that may be using a lot of resources.

You can also try adjusting your computer’s settings to reduce the amount of resources that are used by Avast.
