Dynamic DNS can be a great way to keep your domain name updated with your current IP address, without having to remember to update your domain name server (DNS) every time you change your IP address. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before you start using dynamic DNS. First, make sure you have a DNS hosting account with the provider you want to use.

Second, make sure your DNS hosting provider has a dynamic DNS service available. Finally, make sure you have your current IP address and domain name registered with your DNS hosting provider.

Once you have your domain name and IP address registered with your DNS hosting provider, you can start using their dynamic DNS service. To set up dynamic DNS on your computer, first open the DNS settings on your computer. Next, enter the domain name you want to use for your dynamic DNS address into the DNS section of your computer’s settings.

Next, enter the IP address you want to use for your dynamic DNS address into the IP address section of your computer’s settings. Finally, click the “Update” button to set up your dynamic DNS address.

Once you have set up your dynamic DNS address, every time you change your IP address, your computer will automatically update your domain name with the new IP address. However, you still need to keep your domain name and IP address registered with your DNS hosting provider in case you lose your connection to the internet or your computer crashes.

If you ever need to change your dynamic DNS address, you can do so by visiting your DNS hosting provider’s website and entering the new dynamic DNS address into the appropriate section of your computer’s settings.
