Netflix has been known to block third-party streaming services like Surfshark. The issue began in 2016 when Netflix began to block access to Surfshark and other similar streaming services. Netflix cited concerns over copyright infringement. However, Netflix has since softened its stance and now allows access to Surfshark and other similar streaming services if they are used in a legal way. Despite this change, Surfshark continues to be blocked by Netflix.

This raises the question of whether or not Netflix blocks Surfshark intentionally or unintentionally. It is possible that Netflix blocks Surfshark for copyright reasons, but it is also possible that Netflix blocks Surfshark because it does not want its users to use third-party streaming services. It is also possible that Netflix does not block Surfshark because it does not have the ability to do so. Regardless of the reason, Surfshark remains blocked by Netflix.
