NordVPN has a very strong presence in the European market, with servers in over 53 countries. However, the company does not disclose the location of its Russian servers. This lack of transparency may raise concerns about NordVPN’s compliance with Russian data privacy lAWS. In January 2017, the Russian authorities blocked access to nordVPN’s servers in the country.

This prompted the company to add a new server in Sweden. However, NordVPN has not disclosed whether that server is located in Sweden or another country. Therefore, it is difficult to ascertain whether NordVPN is fully compliant with Russian data privacy lAWS.
