An administrator for the popular global VPN provider Surfshark recently stated that the company does not have servers in China. The claims come amid a broad crackdown on VPNs in the country.

According to the administrator, Surfshark does not have servers in China because of the country’s restrictive lAWS and censorship. The administrator also stated that Surfshark is “very conscious” of the situation and is monitoring the situation closely.

However, some users have expressed concern that Surfshark may be vulnerable to Chinese spying and censorship. Some have also raised concerns that the company could be forced to turn over user data to the Chinese government.

Surfshark has yet to publicly address these concerns.
