Adding a DNS to a HostGator domain is a relatively easy process. First, you will need to create a new hosting account with HostGator.

Once you have created your account, login and click on the “Account” tab. Under “Domain Management,” click on the “Add a Domain” button.

On the next screen, you will need to provide the hostname of your domain and the hostname of the DNS server that you would like to use. You will also need to provide the DNS server’s IP address.

After providing the necessary information, click on the “Add Domain” button to complete the process.

Once your domain has been added, you will need to configure your DNS settings. To do this, open the “Windows Control Panel” and navigate to “Network and Sharing Center.

” Under “Network and Internet,” click on the “DNS” tab.

In the “DNS” window, you will need to enter the IP address of your HostGator DNS server. You will also need to enter the IP address of the computer that you would like to use as your DNS server.

You can find this information by opening “System Properties” and entering “IP Address.” After inputting the necessary information, click on the “Ok” button to save the settings.

Finally, you will need to update your domain’s DNS records. To do this, open a browser and enter the hostname of your domain. You will be redirected to the HostGator DNS server. Once you are on the DNS server, you will need to enter the IP address of your computer as the “A” record and the IP address of your HostGator hosting account as the “C” record.

You can also add additional records if necessary. After entering the information, click on the “Ok” button to save the changes.

Congratulations! You have now added a DNS to your HostGator domain.
