Windows 10 includes a firewall. You can use this firewall to control which applications and ports can be accessed.

You can also use the firewall to block certain types of traffic.

To open the firewall, click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. In the Control Panel, click System and Security, and then click Windows Firewall.

In the Windows Firewall window, click Allow an app or program through the firewall. In the list of allowed applications or programs, click the app or program you want to allow access to the network.

You can also use the firewall to block certain types of traffic. In the Windows Firewall window, click Custom Rules. In the Custom Rules window, click Inbound Rules.

In the Inbound Rules window, click the type of traffic you want to block. In the example below, we are blocking all traffic from the world wide web.

You can also use the firewall to block certain applications from accessing the network. In the Windows Firewall window, click Advanced Options. In the Advanced Options window, click the App Protection tab.

In the App Protection tab, click the application you want to block. In the example below, we are blocking the Steam application from accessing the network.

You can also use the firewall to control which applications can access the network. In the Windows Firewall window, click Allow an app or program through the firewall.
