Default DNS Server Tutorial

If you’re unable to connect to the internet, or if you’re having trouble finding a certain website, your first step is to check to see if your computer is using the default DNS server. If you’re not sure which DNS server your computer is using, there are a few ways to find out.

The easiest way to find out is to open the Control Panel, and select Network and Internet. Under the Network Connections heading, you should see an entry for your computer’s network adapter. If you’re using a wireless network, you may not see an entry for your network adapter.

In that case, you’ll need to open the Network Connections folder, and then select the network adapter that you’re using. Under the Network Connections heading, you should see an entry for the network adapter that’s using the default DNS server.

If you’re using a wired network, you may not see an entry for your network adapter. In that case, you’ll need to open the System Properties dialog box, and select the Network Connections heading.

Under the Network Connections heading, you should see an entry for the network adapter that’s using the default DNS server.

You can also find out which DNS server your computer is using by opening the command prompt, and typing “ipconfig /all.” Under the Networking heading, you should see an entry for your computer’s network adapter.

Under the TCP/IP section, you should see an entry for the network adapter that’s using the default DNS server.

If you’re using a different DNS server, you may need to change your computer’s default DNS server. You can do this by opening the Control Panel, and selecting Network and Internet.

Under the Properties heading, you should select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) section. Under the Preferred DNS Server heading, you should type the DNS server address, and then press Enter.
