VPNs are a great way to protect your privacy and security online, but they can also be a source of annoyance if they’re constantly popping up on your screen. If you want to get rid of the VPN icon on your Mac, there are a few different ways to go about it.

One option is to use a VPN client app. Some of the most popular VPN apps include ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and Private Internet Access.

Once you’ve installed the app and registered for an account, you can open it and click the “Settings” button. From there, you can select the “network” tab and click the “add VPN connection” button.

This will open the “VPN Connection” window. Under “connection type,” select “remote.” Under “location,” enter the address of the VPN server you want to connect to. Under “protocol,” select “UDP.

” Under “port,” enter the port number of the VPN server. Finally, under “name,” enter a name for the VPN connection.

Once you’ve completed these steps, the VPN icon on your Mac will disappear. You can also use a VPN to protect your online traffic from getting intercepted by your network administrator or the government.

If you’re concerned about your privacy, a VPN is a great way to protect yourself.
