Firefox is a great browser for privacy, because it allows you to hide your internal IP address. This is a great way to protect your privacy, because your internal IP address is unique to each computer on which you use Firefox.

To hide your internal IP address in Firefox:

1. Open Firefox.

2. In the main window, click the Firefox menu button (three lines in the top right corner), and then click Options.

3. On the Options page, click the Privacy tab.

4. Under the Use custom settings for history and search entries heading, click the Show advanced settings link.

5. On the Privacy advanced settings page, under the Use custom IP addresses heading, click the Hide my IP address radio button.

6. In the IP address field, type a valid IP address that is not your internal IP address.

7. Click the OK button.

8. Click the OK button in the confirmation window that appears.

9. Close Firefox.
