If you want to keep your online activity private and away from prying eyes, you’ll want to use a VPN service. A VPN encrypts all of your traffic and routes it through an intermediary server, making it difficult for anyone to track your movements.

To use a VPN with Google Chrome, open the browser and click the three lines in the top right corner of the window. Select “Settings,” and then “Advanced.

” In the “Privacy” section, click “Show advanced settings.” In the “VPN” section, click the “Set up a new VPN connection” button.

To connect to a VPN server, enter the server’s name and address in the “Server” and “Port” fields, respectively. (If you’re not sure what these fields are, your VPN provider probably provided you with a guide.

) In the “Type of VPN connection” drop-down menu, select “VPN.” Click the “Create” button.

Now, in the “VPN settings” window, click the “Connect” button. You’ll be prompted to enter your VPN credentials.

Click the “OK” button to connect to the VPN server.

To disconnect from the VPN, click the “Disconnect” button. In the “Privacy” section, click the “Show advanced settings” button.

In the “VPN” section, click the “Close” button.

Now that you’ve connected to a VPN, all of your traffic will be encrypted and routed through the VPN server. To view your current IP address, open the “Network” window and click the “IP” tab.

In the “IP Address” column, you’ll see a masked IP address. This is the IP address that’s been encrypted and routed through the VPN server.
