Avast! is a popular antivirus program that is offered as a free and premium version. The program has a built-in process cleaner that helps to clean up temporary files and registry entries. If you find that Avast! is causing your computer to slow down or become unstable, you may want to try disabling the process cleaner. To disable the process cleaner, open the Avast! program, click the General tab, and then click the Process Cleaner button.
On the following screen, you will be able to disable or enable the process cleaner. If you want to re-enable the process cleaner, just click the Re-enable button.
