How to Use a VPN on Mac

Assuming you have a Mac and an active VPN service account, the process of setting up a VPN on your Mac is relatively straightforward. There are a few different ways to go about it, but the most common way is to open the System Preferences window, select the Network panel, and then click the VPN button.

Once the VPN pane is open, you’ll need to enter your login credentials for the VPN service you want to use. After that, you’ll need to choose a VPN server from the list, and then click the Connect button.

You’ll then be prompted to confirm your connection, and after that you’ll be connected to the VPN server.

If you’re using a VPN to protect your online privacy, be sure to take advantage of the Mac’s built-in security features. For example, you can use the FileVault encryption feature to protect your files and folders.

Additionally, you can use the Trucker app to encrypt your network traffic and keep your data safe from prying eyes.
