One of the most commonly used technologies for remote access is VPN. VPN allows users to connect to a remote network, such as a corporate network, and access resources that would not be available if they were connected directly.

The Cisco VPN software can be used on Windows 10 to create a secure connection to a corporate network. To install the Cisco VPN software, open the Start menu and search for “Cisco VPN”.

When the Cisco VPN software is installed, open it and click on the “Create a New Connection” button.

Enter the address of the server to which you want to connect and the port number. The default port number is 1194.

Click on the “Create Connection” button.

Now, open the “My Network Places” folder. Right-click on the network connection that you just created and select “Open Network Connections”.

You will now see the network connection that you just created.

Click on the “Security” tab and select the “VPN” option. In the “VPN Type” drop-down menu, select the “Windows 10 (IPSec)” option.

Click on the “Configure” button.

In the “General” tab, select the “Use the following IP address” option and enter the IP address of the server to which you want to connect. In the “Address Mask” field, enter the mask of the server.

In the “Gateway Address” field, enter the gateway address of the server.

In the “Configure” tab, select the “Use the following DNS servers” option and enter the DNS servers of the server. Click on the “OK” button.

Now, click on the “Apply” button to apply the changes. Click on the “Close” button to close the Cisco VPN software.

You now have a secure connection to the server. To use the VPN connection, open the “Start” menu and search for “VPN”.

When the VPN connection is open, you will see the “VPN” icon in the system tray. Click on the “VPN” icon to open the VPN connection.
