An LCD projector uses a light source to project an image onto a screen. The light from the projector is reflected off of the surface of the screen and then directed back into the projector through a mirror.

This allows the projector to create an image on the screen.

DLP projectors use a different type of technology. Instead of a light source, a DLP projector uses a light-emitting diode (LED) to project an image onto a screen.

The LED is placed behind the lens and projects the image onto the screen. This technology is much more efficient than LCD projectors and is often considered to be more durable.
