Domain ownership verification is an important step in protecting your business from cyber-attacks. One way to verify domain ownership is to add a DNS record to your domain name.

To add a DNS record, type the following command into your domain controller’s command prompt:

dnscmd /add @ A

For example, to add a DNS record for example.com, you would type the following command:

dnscmd /add @example.com A records.

example.com.

The new dns name you specify will be the name used to lookup the domain’s DNS records. You should also specify the IP address of your domain controller.

If you don’t, the dnscmd command will attempt to contact the Microsoft DNS server.

When you add a DNS record, you should also add a A record for the new dns name. For example, if you add a record for records.example.

com, you should also add a A record for example.

If you are using a domain name service provider other than your domain controller, you will need to provide the DNS server address for the domain name service provider in the command line arguments to the dnscmd command.

After you add the DNS record, you should verify that the record was added by entering the following command:

dnscmd /query @

If the record was added correctly, you will receive a response similar to the following:

Record: A records.com

Type: A

Address: 192.168.
