VPN as Proxy on Internet Explorer

If you need to use a proxy server to browse the Internet, you can do so by using a VPN service. VPN services encrypt all of your internet traffic, which makes it difficult for anyone monitoring your traffic to see what you are browsing.

When you use a VPN as a proxy, the VPN service acts as your proxy server, allowing you to access the Internet through the VPN service’s server.

To use a VPN as a proxy on Internet Explorer, first install the VPN service. Once the VPN service is installed, open Internet Explorer and click the “Tools” menu. Click “Internet Options” and click the “Advanced” tab. Under the “Proxies” heading, click the “Use a proxy server for all internet connections” radio button.

Type the IP address of the VPN service’s server into the “Proxy server” text box and click the “OK” button. Click the “OK” button again to close the “Internet Options” window.

Now, whenever you want to use the VPN service as a proxy, you will need to open the “Internet Options” window and click the “Proxy” tab.

Finally, you will need to open the “Internet Explorer” web browser and type the URL of the website you want to visit into the “URL” text box. You will then be prompted to login to the website using your user name and password.

When you login, the website will be redirected through the VPN service’s server and the original website will appear on your computer’s screen.
