Hotspot Shield is a VPN service that is known for its ability to protect users’ internet privacy. Recently, there have been reports that suggest that Hotspot Shield’s servers may be trackable.

While Hotspot Shield cannot be 100% guaranteed to be untraceable, the company does take various steps to protect user privacy.

First and foremost, Hotspot Shield does not store any user data. All user data is encrypted while in transit and at Hotspot Shield’s servers.

Hotspot Shield also uses the most up-to-date security protocols and software to protect user data.

Even if Hotspot Shield’s servers were to be trackable, it is highly unlikely that anyone would be able to track user activity back to a specific individual. Hotspot Shield does not track user activity in any way other than to identify which VPN servers a user is connecting to.
