DNS server names are the addresses of computers that are used to lookup domain names. This system is used to convert human-readable domain names (like www.

example.com) into the IP addresses of the computers that they represent.

Domain names are divided into two parts: the top-level domain (TLD) and the second-level domain (SLD). The TLD is the top level domain, and the SLD is the second level domain. For example, the TLD for the .com domain is com, and the SLD for the .

example domain is example.com.

There are a total of 24 TLDs and over 180 SLDs. In addition, there are a number of special-purpose TLDs that are not used for domain name resolution. These TLDs include .gov, .

mil, and .edu.

DNS server names are made up of two parts: the TLD and the SLD. For example, the DNS server name for the .com domain is ns1.NAME.

COM. The TLD is com, and the SLD is example.

When a DNS server is configured to use a particular TLD, it will use the corresponding DNS server name for the SLD.

COM, but the DNS server name for the .net domain is ns2.NET.

When a DNS server is configured to use a particular SLD, it will use the corresponding DNS server name for the TLD.edu domain is ns3.EDU.
