There are many causes for DLP, but the most common is a problem with the eyes’ optic nerve. This can be caused by a number of things, such as a birth defect in the optic nerve, a stroke that damages the optic nerve, or a tumor on the optic nerve.

Other causes of DLP include problems with the eye’s retina (the layer of tissue at the back of the eye that helps convert light into images), problems with the eye’s lens, and problems with the eye’s macula (a small area in the center of the eye that helps us see fine details).

DLP can be a very serious condition. If left untreated, it can lead to vision loss and even blindness.

If you’re worried that you may have DLP, you should see a doctor. He or she can perform a number of tests to determine the cause of your vision problems and recommend the best course of action.
