What is DNS Server?
DNS (Domain Name System) is a hierarchical and distributed naming system for computers, devices, and other networks. It assigns human-readable domain names to IP addresses so that clients can find each other using an IP address.

DNS servers are used to resolve domain names to IP addresses. When a user types in a domain name, the DNS server looks up the domain name in its database and returns the corresponding IP address.

What are Queries?
A query is the name of a request for information, typically sent from a client to a DNS server. A DNS query may look something like this:

www.google.com

This query asks the DNS server for the IP address for the website www.

com.
