VPN is a technology that allows remote users to connect to a private network through a public network such as the Internet. When connecting to a VPN, your computer becomes part of that private network.

This allows you to securely access your computer from anywhere in the world. .

VPNs use a variety of security protocols and encryption techniques to ensure that your data is securely transmitted and protected. VPNs can also help prevent your computer from being tracked or monitored.

To install a VPN on a Windows Server, you first need to create a virtual private network (VPN) profile. You can do this by following these steps:

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Under Network and Internet, click Network and Sharing Center.
3. Click Create a Connection.
4. In the Connection Type list, click VPN.
5. In the VPN Connection Type list, click the type of VPN connection you would like to create.

6. In the Server Name (or IP Address) field, enter the server name or IP address of the Windows Server you want to connect to.
7. In the User Name (or Domain) field, enter the user name or domain of the Windows Server you want to connect to.
8. In the Password field, enter the password of the user account that has access to the Windows Server.
9. Click Connect.

Now that you have created the VPN profile, you need to set up the VPN connection. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Windows Server you want to connect to, open the Network and Sharing Center. Under Local Area Networks, click Connect to a Workplace. In the Select a network dialog box, click the network you want to connect to. In the Select a connection type dialog box, click VPN Connection. In the VPN Connection Type list, click the type of VPN connection you have configured.

Now that you have connected to the VPN, you need to create a tunnel. On the Windows Server you want to connect to, open the Command Prompt. Type vpn and press ENTER. Type tunnelling and press ENTER. Type ipconfig and press ENTER. In the Tunnel adapter list, click the name of the VPN connection you have created.
6. In the IPv4 Address field, enter the IPv4 address of the Windows Server you want to connect to.

7. In the Gateway Address field, enter the IPv4 address of the Windows Server you want to connect to. In the DNS Address field, enter the DNS address of the Windows Server you want to connect to. In the Subnet Mask field, enter the Subnet mask of the Windows Server you want to connect to. In the Remote Address field, enter the remote IP address of the Windows Server you want to connect to.
11. In the Local Address field, enter the local IP address of the Windows Server you want to connect to.
12. Click Create.

Now that you have created the tunnel, you can start the VPN connection. Type start and press ENTER. In the Remote Address field, enter the remote IP address.
