Before we get into the nitty gritty, it’s important to first understand the differences between an LCD and DLP display. LCD screens are made up of small, individual pixels that are lit up by an backlight.

DLP displays use a projection system to create an image on a screen. This means that the pixels are not lit up by an backlight, but instead are created by shining a light through a series of lenses and then reflecting it onto the surface of a liquid crystal panel.

The two types of displays have their pros and cons. LCD screens are cheaper to produce and can be smaller and more portable than DLP displays.

However, they have a lower resolution and can’t display color as well as DLP displays. DLP displays are more expensive to produce, but they can produce sharper images with better color saturation.
