VPNs are a great way to keep your online activity private and secure. However, they can sometimes not work on Macs.

This is because Macs use a different security system called Gatekeeper.

Gatekeeper is a security feature built into Macs that lets you decide which applications can access your computer’s resources. Macs usually allow VPNs to work, but they may not allow other applications that access your computer’s resources, such as anti-virus software.

If you’re having trouble connecting to a VPN on your Mac, try resetting your computer’s Gatekeeper. You can reset Gatekeeper by following these steps:

Open System Preferences

Select Security & Privacy

Under General, select the Reset button

Enter your password when prompted

Click Reset Security Options

Click Apply

Click OK

If you still have trouble connecting to a VPN, you may need to try a different VPN provider. There are a variety of VPNs that work on Macs, so you should be able to find one that works for you.

A final note: always be sure to keep your security and privacy settings up-to-date. This includes ensuring that your antivirus software is up to date and that you’re using a secure password.
