When you first set up your VPN, you may have been told to create a VPN profile for each device you use, such as a computer and a phone. This is because all devices have different security requirements and some may not be compatible with a VPN.

However, if you only use one device, your VPN should connect automatically.

If you’re using a Mac, and you’ve connected to your VPN, but it’s not working, there are a few possible reasons why. First, make sure that the VPN connection is active and connected.

If you’re using a VPN app, make sure that it’s open and connected. If you’re using the built-in VPN feature in macOS, make sure that the VPN connection is enabled in System Preferences.

If you’re using a different VPN app, make sure that it’s compatible with macOS. If you’re using a VPN service provider that doesn’t support macOS, make sure that the VPN service is properly configured and that the connection is active.

If all of these things are working, and the VPN still isn’t connecting, there may be an issue with your Mac. If you’re using a newer Mac, make sure that the VPN is compatible with the features of your Mac.

If you’re using an older Mac, make sure that the VPN app you’re using is properly configured for macOS.

If you’re using a VPN app that’s not compatible with macOS, or if the app is improperly configured, you may not be able to connect to the VPN. In this case, you’ll need to contact the VPN service provider to ask them to configure their app properly for macOS.
