Windows 10 includes a built-in VPN feature that allows users to securely access their files and devices over a public network. To use the VPN feature, open the File Explorer window and click the network icon in the lower-left corner. Click the + symbol in the right pane to add a new network. Select the VPN connection type, enter the VPN server address, and click the Connect button.

You can now access your files and devices on the network as if you were connected to the local network. To disconnect from the VPN, click the Disconnect button.

To use the VPN feature on a remote Windows 10 device, first connect to the device using the VPN connection. Then open the File Explorer window and click the network icon in the lower-left corner.

To use the VPN feature on a remote Windows 10 device that is not connected to the network, first connect to the device using the VPN connection. Then open the Settings app and click the Network & Internet icon. Click the VPN slider to turn on the VPN. Enter the VPN server address, and click the Connect button.
