Windows 10 has a firewall that allows you to control which programs and ports on your computer can be accessed from the internet. To change firewall settings in Windows 10:
1. Click the Start button and select Settings.
2. In the Settings window, under System, click Security & privacy.
3. In the Security & privacy window, under Firewall, click Change settings.
4. On the Firewall Settings page, under Public profiles, click Custom profile.
5. On the Custom profile page, under Windows Firewall, click Allow a program through the firewall.
6. In the Allow a program through the firewall list, select the programs you want to allow through the firewall.
7. In the Port range list, select the ports you want to allow through the firewall.
8. In the Protocol list, select the protocols you want to allow through the firewall.
9. In the Action list, select the action you want to take if a program tries to access a port not allowed through the firewall.
10. In the Allow connections from list, select the addresses you want to allow connections from.

22. In the Require authentication on connections from list, select the type of authentication you want to require for connections from the addresses you selected in the Allow connections from list.

27. Click OK to close the Security & privacy window.
28. Close the Settings window.

Now that you have changed your firewall settings, you will need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
