Finding the DNS of a Domain

Domain name systems (DNS) provide a hierarchical system for translating human-readable names, such as www.example.

com, into a set of numerical IP addresses. DNS can also be used to resolve hostnames to their corresponding IP addresses.

To find the DNS of a domain, you can use a number of tools, such as the nslookup command in Linux or the Windows NT DNS client. For example, to find the DNS of the domain example.com, you could use the following command:

nslookup example.com

If the domain is registered with a DNS provider, such as GoDaddy, you can also use their DNS lookup tools. For example, GoDaddy’s DNS lookup tool can be used to lookup the IP addresses of a domain, as well as the name servers that are associated with the domain.
