Domain Name System (DNS) is a hierarchical and distributed system for routing traffic on the Internet. It enables a site to be identified by its unique host name, rather than by its IP address.

When you create your SiteGround account, you will be assigned a domain name and hosting account. Your domain name will be the primary identifier for your website.

To configure your domain name to point to SiteGround’s DNS, you will need to:

1. Log in to your SiteGround hosting account.
2. Click your domain name in the “My Sites” section.
3. In the “Settings” tab, click the “DNS” button.

4. In the “DNS” dialog box, click the “A Records” tab.
5. In the “A Records” dialog box, click the “Add Record” button.
6. Type the following information into the “Name” field:.
