Most people are not aware that they can remove their DNS server. It is something that can be done without resorting to any third party tools or methods.

There are a few things that you will need in order to complete the removal process.

The first thing that you will need is an IP address for the DNS server. This can be obtained by checking the router’s configuration or by querying a public DNS server.

Once you have the IP address, you can use a tool like cURL to send a request to the DNS server to remove it.

Once the DNS server has been removed, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the changes to take effect. You can also manually remove the DNS server from your computer by following the steps below.

If you are using a Windows 8 or 10 operating system, click on System and Security.

If you are using a Windows 7 operating system, click on Administrative Tools.

In the Control Panel window, click on Server Manager.

In the Server Manager window, click on Add Roles and Features.

If you are using a Windows 7 operating system, in the Add Roles and Features window, click on Services.

In the Services window, right-click on DNS and select Stop.

In the Server Manager window, click on DNS and select Remove.

After the DNS server has been removed, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the changes to take effect.
