If you have an older DNS server that is no longer meeting the needs of your network, you may want to consider removing it. There are a few different ways to go about this, but the most common approach is to use a DNS management tool.

One of the most popular DNS management tools is DNS Manager from Microsoft. DNS Manager can be used to remove an old DNS server from your network, as well as add new DNS servers.

You can also use DNS Manager to manage your DNS zones and records.

Once you have installed DNS Manager, you can use the Add a New Server wizard to add a new DNS server. You can also use the wizard to remove an old DNS server from your network.

To remove an old DNS server using DNS Manager, first select the server in the left pane of the window and then click Remove. The Remove Server dialog box will appear.
