If you want to change the DNS server for a domain, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your domain controller.
2. Open the DNS snap-in.
3. In the DNS snap-in, right-click the domain name and select Properties.
4. On the General tab, under the DNS Servers list, click the Change button.
5. In the Change DNS Server dialog box, type the new DNS server address in the Server field and click OK.

11. In the Add DNS Suffix dialog box, type the new suffix in the Suffix field and click OK.

34. On the Active Directory Users and Computers window, right-click the user account for the domain controller that you just changed the DNS for and select Properties.
35. On the DNS tab, in the Server field, type the new DNS server address and click OK.

38. In the Add DNS Server dialog box, type the new DNS server address in the Server field and click OK.

So now that the DNS has been changed, you will need to update the domain controllers with the new DNS settings. You can do this by following these steps:
