DNS is the system that allows computers to find each other on the Internet. When you type a website into your browser, your computer queries a DNS server for the address of the website.

A DNS server can hold a list of up to 216 DNS records for a given domain. That means a domain can have up to 216 different DNS records.

For example, if your domain is example.com, your DNS server could hold records for the following:.example.com

example.net

example.org

example.biz

example.info

example.store

example.co.uk

example.de

If your domain has more than 216 DNS records, your DNS server will start to return errors. You’ll need to add more DNS servers to your domain in order to handle the extra records.

You can add more DNS servers to your domain by following these steps:

1. Go to the Control Panel and open the Network and Internet Connections icon.

2. Click the “Add” button and then click the “DNS” tab.

3. Enter the IP address of one or more DNS servers in the “IP Address” field.

4. Click the “OK” button.

5. Restart your computer.

6. Test your domain by entering the address into your browser.
