Windows 10 includes a firewall by default. This firewall is designed to protect your computer from unauthorized access by blocking access to certain ports and protocols.

You can customize the firewall settings to allow or block specific types of traffic.

To open the firewall settings in Windows 10:

1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.

2. Under Network and Internet, click Network and Sharing Center.

3. Under Network and Sharing Center, click Change adapter settings.

4. Under Network and Sharing Center, click Internet Options.

5. Under Internet Options, click the Security tab.

6. Under Security, click the Firewall button.

7. Under the Firewall section, click the Allow access to the following networks check box.

8. Under the Firewall section, click the Customize settings for your network check box.

9. Under the Firewall section, click the Rule Types tab.

10. Under the Firewall section, click the Allow access from specific computers list box.

11. Under the Firewall section, click the Add a rule button.

12. In the Add a rule window, click the Port range list box.

13. In the Port range list box, click the Remote port list box.

14. In the Remote port list box, click the Computer name or IP address list box.

15. In the Computer name or IP address list box, click the IP address or computer name of the computer you want to allow access to the network.

16. Under the Protocols list box, click the TCP list box.

17. Under the TCP list box, click the Allow selected protocols radio button.

18. Under the Allow selected protocols radio button, click the TCP port list box.

19. In the TCP port list box, click the Port number list box.

20. In the Port number list box, click the Port number you want to allow access to.

21. Under the Protocols list box, click the UDP list box.

22. Under the UDP list box, click the Allow selected protocols radio button.

23. Under the Allow selected protocols radio button, click the UDP port list box.

27. Under the ICMP list box, click the Allow selected protocols radio button.

36. In the Allow connections from specific computers list box, click the Add a computer name or IP address button.

37. In the Add a computer name or IP address window, click the Computer name or IP address of the computer you want to allow access to the network.
