When creating a DNS domain name, you need to provide the following pieces of information:

1. The name of the domain (e.g.

www.example.com).

2. The TLD (Top Level Domain) of the domain (e.

g. com).

3. The hostname of the domain (e.

4. The IP address(es) of the server(s) that will be hosting the domain name (e. 192.

168.1.1).

5. The primary DNS suffix for the domain (e.

If you already have an existing domain name, you can use the Domain Name System (DNS) to lookup the name servers for that domain. To create a new DNS domain name, you need to provide the following information:

The steps to creating a DNS domain name are as follows:

1. Go to the Domain Name System (DNS) website and enter the name of the domain you want to create. Click the “Search” button and enter the TLD (Top Level Domain) of the domain you want to create. Click the “Results” button and enter the hostname of the domain you want to create. Click the “Add” button and enter the IP address(es) of the server(s) that will be hosting the domain name. Click the “Update” button and the DNS records for the domain name will be updated.

6. If you want to create a new DNS zone for the domain name, click the “Create Zone” button and enter the name of the zone.

7. Click the “OK” button to create the zone.

8. Go to the “DNS” tab in the “System Properties” window and click the “Advanced” button.

9. Click the “Hosts” tab and enter the primary DNS suffix for the domain you created in step 5.

10. Click the “OK” button to save the changes.

11. If you want to view the DNS records for the domain name, open a command prompt window and type “dnsping www.

example.com”.

12. If you want to change the name servers for the domain name, open a command prompt window and type “dnscmd www.com add 10.

13. If you want to clear the DNS records for the domain name, open a command prompt window and type “dnscmd www.com clearef”.
