Domain Name System (DNS) servers are a cornerstone of the Internet. They allow your computer to translate domain names, such as www.

example.com, into the numerical IP addresses that computers use.

To find a list of DNS servers for a domain, use a web search engine and enter the domain name followed by “DNS.” For example, if you want to find the DNS servers for www.example.com, you would enter “www.com DNS.”.

Once you’ve found the DNS servers for a domain, you can use them to locate the website for that domain. For example, if you want to visit www.com, you would type the IP address for the DNS server for www.com into your web browser’s address bar, followed by the “www.” prefix.
