Domain Name System (DNS) records are the foundation of the Domain Name System (DNS). The DNS assigns a unique name to every computer on the Internet and translates that name into an IP address.

Without DNS, users would have to remember long, hard-to-remember IP addresses, which is why DNS is so important.

DNS is built into most operating systems, and it can be accessed through a variety of tools. Domain Name Servers (DNS) are available through commercial providers as well as free public services.

The most popular DNS provider is Google, but there are many others.

To find DNS records for a particular domain name, you can use a variety of tools. Domain name lookup tools, such as Google DNS and OpenDNS, allow you to type in a domain name and see the DNS records associated with that domain.

You can also use tools that are specific to a particular domain name, such as GoDaddy’s whois tool or Network Solutions’ DomainTools.

Once you have the DNS records for a domain name, you can use those records to lookup the IP addresses for the domain. You can also use those records to add the domain name to your computer’s DNS server.
